Hundreds of people braved the heat to march in protests across the country, including in Middle Tennessee.
Saturday was called the “Families Belong Together” day of action, and hundreds of people in Nashville answered that call.
People wrote post cards to Senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander, registered to vote, and sent messages of love and support to immigrants.
Similar protests happened from coast to coast, including in Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Cookeville.
