Authorities have been investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on Interstate 65.
The wreck happened in the northbound lanes near Wedgewood Avenue south of downtown after 11 a.m. Sunday.
Details on the crash, including the victim's identity and the cause of the wreck, had not been released by officials.
The roadway was closed to northbound traffic with police diverting drivers to alternate routes for several hours. Southbound drivers were not affected.
The roadway reopen around 3 p.m.
