NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was shot by his adult son after an argument broke out between the two in North Nashville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the son apparently got into an argument with his father at a residence on Paige Circle.
At some point, the disturbance turned violent and the two ended up wrestling on the ground. The father was shot once during the struggle.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect has not yet been taken into custody.
No identities were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
