FBI Doubles Reward In Tuders Disapearance

The Federal Bureau of Investigation doubled the reward in the 13-year cold case of Tabitha Tuders.

The offered up to $50,000 for information leading to arrest of the person or persons criminally involved in Tuders’ disappearance on April 29, 2003.

FBI officials doubled the reward from $25,000 to $50,000 Friday. The first offer was made on the same day in 2010.

Tabitha was believed to have left her East Nashville home at 1312 Lillian Street 7:30 a.m. to catch a school bus at the nearby intersection of 14th & Boscobel Streets. She did not board the bus that day and did not attend school.

A vigil was set for Friday night at Bailey Middle School at 7 p.m. to honor her and remind the community of the case.         

Metro Police & the FBI have jointly investigated literally hundreds of leads over the past 13 years.  The investigation remained active and led by Detective Steve Jolley of the MNPD’s Homicide-Cold Case Unit.
