NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police investigated a shooting that injured a man in Antioch late Sunday.
The shooting was reported at about 9:00p.m. in the 1100 block of Bell Road.
According to police, two people got into an argument inside a nearby restaurant, which continued out in the parking lot with a security officer.
Investigators said the security officer then fired multiple rounds at the victim's vehicle. The victim was shot once and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is expected to survive his injuries.
At this point, detectives are interviewing everyone involved in the incident. It's unclear if the security officer will face charges.
