With temps at a record high, Nashville Fire Department firefighters battled a brush fire on the western edge of Davidson County.
Brian Haas with the department said the fire was contained around 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
The first call came out at 12:54 p.m. on 4175 Libble Road and did not impact any traffic or homes.
Firefighters had to not only fight the flames but had to get through the terrain as well.
The fire consumed 5 or more acres of land.
