MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. – Two units were destroyed after a fire broke out at a campground and motel in Millersville.

The incident happened Friday morning at the Travel Land Campground Motel along the Louisville Highway.

Officials with the Millersville Fire Department said a woman inside a home apparently heard the blaze burning and woke up her husband. They were able to go outside and alert those inside a nearby mobile home.

The fire tore through both structures as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. The home and trailer were a total loss.

People from inside the motel were evacuated as a precaution.

At this point, the fire seems to have been caused by an electrical issue, although investigators were not able to officially confirm that yet. No foul play was suspected.

According to officials, there was no insurance on either property. It was unknown if anyone was being called in to assist those affected.
