A home was destroyed in a Goodlettsville house fire.
The house at 102 Park Court caught fire sometime around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Nine people live in the home, but the Goodlettsville Fire Captain said one teen was inside the home at the time and was able to get out safely.

The home was a complete loss, leaving the family with nothing. One child is a third grader at Davidson Academy another was a senior at Beech Senior High School. Two others attended TW Hunter Middle School in Hendersonville.
It was unclear what caused the fire. It is under investigation.
No injuries were reported. The home was a complete loss.
The Director of Admissions for Davidson Academy Jason McGehee told NewsChannel 5 that the school will be taking donations for the family. Those donations were set to be accepted through 4 p.m. Monday.
He sent out the following letter to Davidson Academy parents:
Dear DA Family,
Late this afternoon one of our families lost everything in a house fire. Thankfully, no lives were lost and no one was injured. As word of the tragedy spread quickly, many neighbors and DA families immediately showed up to minister to the family. To help meet immediate physical needs, Davidson Academy will be a drop-off location for clothes, gift cards, and cash donations. A box truck will be parked just off Crook Boulevard immediately in the Lower School front drive. Clothing can be left in the truck and gift cards and/or cash donations can be left at the Lower School reception desk.Clothing sizes for each child are as follows:
Boy - 9 years old
Shoe - 4-4.5
Shirt size - youth med
Pants size - 8 or 10Boy - 12 years old
Shoe size - 9.5-10
Shirt size - youth med/large
Pants size - 12 or 14Boy - 14 years old
