An Almaville firefighter was injured while fighting a house fire early Tuesday morning.
The fire started at a home on Pinnacle Place at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. Fire crews said the fire started in the back of the home and spread to the roof.
Everyone inside the home got out safely. The fire department said a family of about four or five people lived there.
According to the Almaville Fire Chief, who happens to live right next door to the home that caught fire, a firefighter was taken to the hospital after suffering an injury when he fell through a floor during the firefight. The firefighter is expected to be alright.
Investigators were at the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
