The first baby of 2016 was born at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.
Baby Jaceyon Ellis was born at 3:27 a.m. January 1, 2016.
“It all kind of happened fast. I made it here at 1 a.m. and the next thing you know at 3:27 a.m. he was out,” said new mom, Misty Ellis.
His Mom told us he has two older sisters who, no doubt, will be a great help.
She said she's so happy he's here, and that this was one of the best gifts she could ever ask for.
