Metro Council members voted to approve the controversial Fontanel expansion.
The expansion will put a hotel, conference hall, and more on the Whites Creek property.
The plan stalled a few weeks ago when the Zoning Commission raised some concerns about the project. It took a few changes, but the plan passed during Tuesday's council meeting.
Also, a huge group of people came out to support an affordable housing bill on its second reading.
It would amend sections of the Metro zoning code to give incentives for inclusive housing projects. It passed on second reading. A final vote comes in September.
