Food Given To Those In Need At Nashville Gas Station

Many residents in Nashville witnessed a great act of good will at a gas station convenience store on Thanksgiving.

Thursday, Life Outreach Ministries gave out 20 plates of food to those in need who stopped by the Exxon Tigermarket on Trinity Lane at Brick Church Pike.

The meal was complete with turkey and all the fixings.

“Just to give out to the community, some people are homeless out here, don’t have a meal, that's how you get your blessings,” said Lakeyontay Mills, of Tigermarket. “I might be in that situation some day, you never know.”

Some people even tried to give a donation to the ministry after receiving their plate of food, but we’re told they declined those donations.
