A former Metro City Council Member died at the age of 96.
Tandy Wilson III died Wednesday following a fall from which he never recovered.
He became a council member for the 33rd district back in 1961 and served for 34 years. During that time he worked on the budget and finance committee.
Wilson was also a World War Two veteran.
