Former Clarksville-Montgomery County Teacher Arrested For Rape Of A Child

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A former teacher in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has been arrested on multiple charges, including rape of a child.

Officials said they took 27-year-old Brandon Kyle Hester into custody Friday. He has been charged with two counts of rape of a child, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, two counts of aggravated statutory rape, and two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Authorities said Hester taught in Clarksville from 2010 to 2012, which was when he began an after school club for boys to help those who did not have a father figure.

According to police, the victim was one of the boys in the club.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
