MANCHESTER, Tenn. – A former high school baseball coach in Coffee County has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape.

Officials said Bradley Weir is facing 16 counts, including statutory rape by an authority figure and aggravated rape charges. He was originally arrested back in February.

Weir has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Coffee County Schools suspended Weir without pay, pending an investigation.

He was hired in 2014 as head baseball coach, but never coached a game for the Red Raiders.

Weir was freed after posting a $100,000 bond.
