Former Metro City Councilman, Lionel Greene, was arraigned in court Wednesday, and pleaded not guilty.
Greene allegedly tried to keep the victim of a brutal domestic assault from testifying earlier this year.
Both Greene and his cousin, who is the victim's ex-boyfriend pled not guilty today. Greene was in court for the arraignment.
His attorney said he's had a difficult few months after being forced to resign his city council seat in January.
He feels bad, he's lost his seat in the council and he understands that and accepts it and he's moved on. The metro council has moved on,” said attorney Sam Coleman
Both Greene and his cousin were scheduled to be back in court next month.
