A former Ravenwood High School teacher was arrested for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old student.
Officials with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into Dr. Afeef Husni and his actions started back in 2014.
He only worked at the school for two months before the investigation began. He was suspended and ended up leaving the country.
Husni was expelled from Dubai last week and returned to Franklin to face a slew of charges including solicitation to commit statutory rape by an authority figure.
