Posted

The former treasurer for a Murfreesboro high school’s booster club has been charged with theft.

Officials said Tuesday that Donna Moore allegedly stole thousands from the Blackman High School Boys Soccer Booster Club.

Moore has been accused of stealing $6,989 from the club.

She allegedly used the booster club's debit card to buy jewelry, clothing and gift cards between September 2014 and June 2015.

According to a release, Moore admitted to investigators that she used booster club money to buy personal items. She reportedly deposited $1,180 in the booster club’s bank account back in June.

She was indicted by the Rutherford County Grand Jury back in October. Her photo was not immediately available.
