TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – A former treasurer has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the Tullahoma Little League.
According to The Tullahoma News, 31-year-old Timothy Ryan Brewer has been freed on a $25,000 bond after turning himself in to the Coffee County Jail Thursday morning.
Brewer has been accused of embezzling $13,000 from two different accounts between September 2014 and July this year.
Officials learned of the alleged theft after $4,000 was discovered to be missing from T-shirt sales and league raffles.
He has resigned from his position of treasurer with the league.
A court appearance has been set for August 24 in Coffee County General Sessions Court.
