Hundreds of area students and parents are in for a big surprise.
Every student at Glencliff Elementary School is set to receive all of their school supplies for free.
We were there with teachers and volunteers as they prepared for Monday’s big giveaway. The principal of the school said seeing all the supplies is inspiring.
All students from Pre-K through 4th grade will also be given nine new books to start out the school year.
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades PATCH Foundation is making that possible.
The students will get the supplies Monday evening when they arrive to meet their teachers.
