Google Fiber Opens In Nashville

Google Fiber has officially opened for business in Music City.

Google announced it was bringing Fiber to Nashville back in January 2015. On Wednesday, its headquarters opened on Division Street, near the Gulch.

Crews have begun installing Fiber in a few apartments and condos in the area. Renters can click here to see if it’s available for their units.

According to a release, pricing for the Fiber 1000 plan would be $70 a month. The internet and TV package would run $130 a month.

Google said it would also be connecting some public housing residents with $0 gigabit connections through its partnership with ConnectHome and MDHA.
