Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam have officially kicked off the holiday season today by opening their home for the eighth annual Tennessee's Home for the Holidays.

This will be the final Home for the Holidays open house of the Haslam administration but that won't keep the Governor and First Lady from going all out.

This year, the holiday theme is "Tennessee Tourism" with trees that are meant to celebrate the record-breaking industry of Tennessee, along with the many businesses, attractions and destinations that bring tourism to the state.

“Crissy and I are proud to showcase many of the incredible businesses, places and events that provide education, entertainment, hospitality and beauty to both visitors to our state and locals,” Governor Haslam said.

Those who are interested in attending Tennessee's Home for the Holidays can do so Thursday-Sunday, December 6-16, 2018.

Hours will be Thursday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Tours are free and open to the public but online reservations must be made through the First Lady’s website at www.tn.gov/firstlady [tn.gov] first.
