MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Governor Haslam sat down with local leaders in Murfreesboro and Shelbyville to talk about transportation and infrastructure.
The governor took two heavy-hitters with him Thursday: Tennessee Department of Transportation Chief Engineer Paul Degges and Commissioner John Schroer.
They talked about some of the road-related challenges people there have been dealing with.
Right now the state has had a multi-billion dollar backlog of highway projects across the state, and the governor said that was only going to grow.
