A gun was found on the property of Whites Creek High School.
Police said a student reported seeing 18-year-old Michael Boyd Junior take the weapon from a car around the time of dismissal.
Police checked it out, and found a handgun in the trunk.
Boyd is a senior at Pearl Cohn High School.
