NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Thursday night ended with a big surprise at the Habitat For Humanity build site in Nashville - a proposal!
Each night, a high school band celebrates the end of the the day with a parade through the site. As the Whites Creek High School band was playing, a group gathered behind the parade holding a sign with a special question: "Dylan, will you marry me?"
After a day of volunteering at the build site, Dylan's girlfriend Cathy got down on one knee behind her ready to pop the question.
Dylan was surprised and said yes as the crowd cheered and streamers were tossed into the air.
Cathy and Dylan first met while volunteering at another Habitat For Humanity build.
