The Metro Public Health Department offered free flu shots to anyone living in Davidson County.
Health officials said even with flu season in full effect, it wasn’t too late to get a shot.
The shots were set to be offered at any of the three health department locations all week from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials, this year's vaccine has been a good match for the flu strains currently circulating in the U.S.
