Here's what you can and can't carry if you attend the NFL Draft

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The NFL Draft is next week in Nashville, and there is a strict list of items that visitors can and cannot bring with them.

The list of permitted items includes:

  • Small bags with maximum measurements of 16x16x6
  • Personal-sized umbrellas of up to 36 inches
  • Personal cameras (for photography only)
  • Signs that don't have poles or sticks.

The list of prohibited items is much larger. Be sure to leave the following items at home when you attend the NFL Draft:

  • Guns, knives, and other weapons or dangerous devices of any kind
  • Backpacks or luggage
  • Coolers
  • Outside alcoholic beverages (designated event vendors will be on site selling such beverages)
  • Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
  • Fireworks
  • Laser pointers
  • Pets (with the exception of service animals)
  • Drones or other remote-controlled aerial- or ground-based devices
  • Wagons or pull-carts
  • Unauthorized personal transport devices, such as bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, Segways, golf carts, mopeds, scooters (non-electric and electric) and any personal motor vehicles other than wheelchairs and ADA devices (which require event credentials)
  • Pedicabs and Pedal Taverns
  • Noisemakers or amplification devices that could disrupt event productions, including megaphones, musical instruments, air horns and whistles)
  • Pop-up tents
  • Beach or pole-style umbrellas
  • Hammocks (includes the restriction of not attaching anything to any park structures or trees)
  • Audio recording devices or video cameras
  • Camera stands such as tripods, monopods and selfie sticks
  • Aerosol containers and sealed containers
  • Professional-grade radios or walkie-talkies
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • Blankets, ground tarps and chairs
  • Signs, flags or poles on sticks

In addition to the above list of prohibited items, visitors are also asked to refrain from unauthorized vending or solicitation or performances or demonstrations outside of the designated freedom of expression zone.
