MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are searching for three teens in Mt. Juliet after a high speed chase that occurred early Wednesday morning.
According to police, they spotted a speeding vehicle traveling 60+mph in a 30mph zone around 1 a.m.
The officer attempted to pull over the vehicle but the car fled and quickly crashed in a nearby field.
One of the teens was apprehended. This suspect is reportedly a 15-year-old runaway from Nashville.
The suspect was charged Wednesday morning with evading, unlawful possession of a weapon, and simple possession of a schedule VI drug.
The other three teens took off on foot. Police believe they were likely picked up by someone.
