The search for a missing hiker continues in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Mitzie Sue Clements was hiking with her daughter on the Forney Ridge Trail, near Andrews Bald when the two separated last Tuesday.
The 53-year-old from Ohio was last seen in the Clingmans Dome area about a quarter of a mile from Andrews Bald.
Search crews from Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia were assisting park staff in a large-scale search effort in the steep, rugged terrain.
Hundreds have been out looking, but have found no trace of the woman.
