An investigation has gotten underway in Cheatham County after human remains were discovered.
The remains were found at 644 Thompson Road in Pegram.
Investigators confirmed a dog discovered the remains on the property.
The age of the person was not known, but officials confirmed it was not a child's remains.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office were investigating.
