HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Humphreys County man is wanted by the Humpreys County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), and they're asking for any information anybody might have about him.

According to HCSO, Ryan Keith Veler is wanted for three counts of aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping, violation of order of protection and leaving the scene of an injury accident. There are additional charges against him from various other counties.

Thursday night, Veler was approached by bounty hunters at the Pilot Travel Center in Hurricane Mills. Veler jumped in his car to flee, and rammed into other vehicles to make his escape.

While Veler drove off, he dragged one of the bounty hunters, causing minor injuries.

Veler made a successful escape while also causing significant property damage.

Veler's car was found disabled and abandoned down the road from the scene of the incident.

Anyone with information on Veler's whereabouts is asked to contact HCSO at (931) 296-2301 or send an email to cid@hcsotn.com. Veler should be considered dangerous.
