The man accused of killed a Metro Health Department doctor, has pleaded not guilty.
William Thomas Trudo was arrested after he admitted to killing his wife Dr. Sandra Thomas-Trudo in January.
An autopsy released in March showed Dr. Thomas-Trudo was stabbed 17 times at the couple's apartment on Belle Meade Boulevard.
William went to the West Precinct station after it happened, and turned himself in.
During the court appearance, he also talked to the judge about his finances.
William Thomas Trudo was being held on a $1 million bond, and was scheduled to be back in court in June for a discussion hearing.
