I-24 East reopens after deadly crash involving semi-truck

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A portion of Interstate 24 East has reopened in Nashville following a deadly, early-morning crash involving a semi-truck.

The incident happened at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday just north of Harding Place.

It's unclear how the crash happened. Metro Police will provide an update once the fatal team concludes their investigation.

The roadway was closed for several hours but reopened around 5:30 a.m.
