Young immigrants in Nashville rallied in the streets in support of the DACA program ahead of a critical meeting with lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

A group from the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition marched to the offices of U.S. Senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander.

They aimed to get the senators to approve legislation that would put former President Obama's DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program into law, which would ensure immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as children would not be deported.
