DANDRIDGE, Tenn. - A bald eagle was found wounded by a gunshot in Jefferson County a few weeks ago.
The eagle, believed to be just a juvenile, was found June 8 near the Hidden Cove Campground of Douglas Lake.
Now Tennessee officials said they’re offering a $12,500 dollar reward for information that leads to a conviction of the person responsible.
The eagle was being cared for by the American Eagle Foundation in Pigeon Forge.
