NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was arrested for public intoxication during the NFL Draft after security saw him attempting to climb a fence near the Draft stage.
According to Metro police, 33-year-old James Johnson was trying to climb a fence located near 1st Avenue and Church Street, close to the NFL Draft stage.
When security asked him to leave, police saw the defendant stumble into the roadway of 1st Avenue several times.
Police said that he had a strong odor of alcohol about him, and that he also admitted that he had been drinking alcohol.
