Krystal Daniels has not been charged with first-degree murder in the Joe Clyde Daniels case, according to staff at the Dickson County Jail. This is a reversal after booking records indicated the charge had been added early Wednesday morning.
The booking record at the Dickson County Jail did show Daniels with a new first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of her son and the jail staff confirmed the updates to NewsChannel 5.
However, that now appears to have changed, with the murder charge no being longer listed. It’s unclear if a glitch caused the issue.
NewsChannel 5 is awaiting comment from the District Attorney to clarify the charges against Krystal Daniels.
Friday, Krystal was indicted on four counts, including child neglect. Her husband, Joseph, was indicted on five counts. Those included homicide, child abuse, abuse causing serious bodily injury, initiating a false report, and destroying or concealing evidence to impair its availability.
