NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police are searching for one teenage who remains on the run after an escape from the TrueCore facility in Donelson early Tuesday morning,

Police said four teenagers escaped from the facility, known as Stones River Academy, on Stewarts Ferry Pike around 9 p.m.

Three of the teens carjacked a couple on Airways Circle around 11:30 p.m. Officers were able to track the couple's stolen 2018 Chevrolet Cruze via satellite and control the car to slow down to 5 mph. When it was located, the car was followed to a West Nashville neighborhood, where it turned down a dead end. Police said the driver attempted to run from the area, but was caught. The two other teenagers in the car were also taken back into custody.

Police are still searching for the fourth teenager, 18-year-old Steven Crosby. He was not in the car and his whereabouts are unknown.

If you have any information on where Crosby might be, contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

This is the second time this month and fourth time this year someone escaped from the TrueCore facility.

On October 10, two teens were able to make it over the walls of the facility during an apparent uprising at one of the dorms. Both were taken into custody quickly. Two other teens escaped in March, and in July five teens were able to make it out of the facility.
