TAZEWELL, Tenn. - Kenny Chesney's father spent time behind bars after allegedly assaulting someone with a golf club.
A police report from Claiborne County said David Chesney hit a man several times with his fists and then a golf club.
He's also accused of knocking the victim's sunglasses off, then stomping on them.
David Chesney was charged with aggravated assault and vandalism.
