ELKTON, Ky. - Officials in Todd County, Kentucky confirmed a 10-year-old boy was injured in an accident involving a bow and arrow.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at a home on Lack Road.
Authorities said the arrow went into the boy’s hand about an inch above his wrist. It reportedly came out on the top of his hand just below his fingers.
He was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
It was not clear how the accident happened, according to officials.
