An inmate who escaped from Kentucky was captured in Tennessee.
Officials in Fulton County, Kentucky said 29-year-old Jerrell D. Kinney, of Hickman, Kentucky, escaped while in custody outside of the Fulton County Courthouse Friday afternoon.
Around 9 p.m. Friday, authorities with the Kentucky State Police received word he was possibly in Union City, Tennessee, and they requested assistance from the Union City Police Department to check a home located there.
Reports stated police found and arrested Kinney around 9:15 p.m.
He was being held in Tennessee as he awaited extradition back to Kentucky.
