FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVF) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced that Kentucky is now up to 103 cases of COVID-19.

Beshear noted there have been more than 2,000 COVID-19 tests given in Kentucky to date. The average age of a COVID-19 patient is 53.3 years old, and only 6% of the patients have been omitted to the ICU in Kentucky.

The governor also made the announce of a "Healthy at Home" initiative. Rather than issuing a "shelter in place" order, Beshear ordered the closure of non essential retail and businesses beginning Monday.

These types of businesses include entertainment, sporting goods, clothing, shoes, jewelry, book stores, florists, furniture, and auto dealers.
