NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Kid Rock has posted a tweet attacking Taylor Swift over her political ideologies.
"Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies....period," Kid Rock wrote in the tweet posted on Friday morning.
He continues, "And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl."
Other than what some might perceive as opposing political views, it's unclear why Kid Rock has chosen to target Swift in this way; however, just yesterday, fashion magazine Vogue published an interview with the 29-year-old pop star. In it, Swift discusses her support of the LGBTQ community, including a $113,000 donation she made to the Tennessee Equality Project, a pro-LGBTQ organization in Tennessee.

A glance at Kid Rock's Twitter page shows that he is a sparse user of the platform, only posting new tweets two to three times a month. Further, not all of his tweets are so harshly critical or negative, with one from Memorial Day of this year thanking veterans and their families for their service, and another of Kid Rock with his granddaughter at Disney World.
