FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVF) — Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said a total of 4,539 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state and a total of 235 people have died.
Wednesday's update brought 184 new confirmed cases and 10 more deaths. Beshear said 54,101 people have been tested in Kentucky.
During his daily press briefing, he outlined the first phase of the "Healthy at Work" plan.
- May 11: Manufacturing, construction, car dealerships, professional services can reopen at 50% capacity. Horse racing can begin without fans, and dog grooming facilities can reopen.
- May 25: Social gatherings of 10 people or less will be given the go ahead, as well barbers, salons, cosmetology businesses, and similar services.
- May 20: Retail stores and church can reopen at reduced capacity.
