Lane closures have been planned on Hillsboro Pike, so work can be done by Nashville Electric Service crews.
NES representatives said they’re upgrading electrical equipment and replacing power poles beginning in early June.
The work has been expected to last several months.
One southbound lane will be closed between Sharondale Drive and Graybar Lane, just south of the Woodmont Boulevard intersection, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Officials said some night work may be necessary.
