Christmas is still more than a month away, but it’s not too early to start talking about the Last Minute Toy Store. It’s a Nashville tradition but there will be some changes this year.
In years past, the Last Minute Toy Store has been set up at a small church on 61st Avenue in The Nations neighborhood.
However, due to gentrification, organizers said families in need are no longer in that neighborhood.
They’ve now partnered with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office to move the operation to the correctional facility off Harding Place.
The Last Minute Toy Store has already began accepting donations. This year, you can also order gifts from Amazon and send them directly to the organization.
The Nolensville Road 52B MTA bus route will take riders straight to the toy drive.
