A 10-year-old was rushed to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself with a shotgun.
Officials with the Lebanon Police Department said the young boy was at home when he found a shotgun, and accidentally shot himself in the abdomen.
It happened in the home at 321 Dandelion Drive in Lebanon around 4:15 p.m. The boy’s older sibling was home at the time and called 911.
The children’s parents were notified shortly after and met the child at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
