One group people may think of being impacted by the romaine lettuce recall is zoo animals.
Zookeepers have had to switch out romaine for green leaf lettuce until the CDC gives the all clear.
A zoo spokesperson said it's not much of a pain to switch, except for the increase in cost, since green leaf lettuce prices have gone up because of the recall.
She also said some of the birds are picky and have been able to tell a difference in the texture.
