HOHENWALD, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a Lewis County homicide, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has announced.

TBI agents were part of an investigation this week when a body was found in a pond in the area of Allen's Creed Road. The body is believed to be Kenneth Harter.

During the investigation, agents determined Curtis Lobermier, 38, as the person responsible for Harter's murder.

Investigators also determined Jonathan French, 35, to have been present during the murder and to have helped later move the body. It was determined that Betty Crutchfield, 35, fraudulently used Harter's credit card.

Crutchfield was arrested Tuesday and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and theft. She was booked into the Lewis County jail on a $5,000 bond.

French was arrested Wednesday night and charged with abuse of a corpse and accessory after the fact. He was booked into the Lewis County jail on a $50,000 bond.

Lobermier was arrested Thursday and charged with criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse. He was booked into the Lewis County jail on a $275,000 bond.
