MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Northfield Elementary School in Murfreesboro was briefly evacuated after light smoke was detected in the building.
The incident was reported Tuesday morning at the school located on Northfield Boulevard.
Students in one wing of the school were briefly evacuated.
The smoke was ventilated and classes have since resumed.
It's unclear what prompted the issue.
